Thursday surprise! Less than 24 hours after an appeals court rejected Trump's 11th hour stunt to try to prevent Mike Pence from testifying for the special counsel grand jury seated to investigate Donald Trump's role in attempting to prevent the peaceful transfer of power on January 6, 2021.

No one knew Pence was testifying until it was all over! It is a truly extraordinary step in what was already one of the most tragic and horrifying days in American history. A Vice President testifying against his former boss - the President!

His visit was marked by an insane amount of security at the federal courthouse. Pence was reportedly at the courthouse from 9AM to 4:30PM and comes less than one day after a federal appeals court rejected Trump's attempt to stop it, so clearly Pence was was just waiting for the ruling before he could ring up Jack Smith and go "Hey, Jack...you ready for me tomorrow? Yeah, bright and early. I am ready. Let's get this party started. Mother approves."

So what exactly are they looking to get from Pence? Well, a whole heck of a lot. Pence was literally THE man Trump had hoped would pull the plug on the whole transfer of power thing. The pressure campaign being put on Pence leading up to January 6th from Trump and his slew of sycophants, hanger ons and conspiracy theory pushing leeches must have been intense. Learning more about this desperate effort is critical.

How long until Trump puts something on Truth Social about Pence being not strong enough to "do the right thing" by trying to avoid the grand jury?
