Steve Doocy Smacks Down Comer Over Biden 'Investigation'
Comer has nothing on Biden.
Things didn't go Rep. James Comer's way on Fox News on Thursday after host Steve Doocy called out the Oversight Committee chairman over the investigation into the Bidens.
"I know the Republicans said that the smoking gun were these financial records that you were able to subpoena and got your hands on," Doocy said. "And your party, the Republican investigators, say that that's proof of influence peddling by Hunter and James [Biden]."
"But that's just your suggestion," Doocy continued. "You don't actually have any facts to that point. You've got some circumstantial evidence."
"And the other thing is, of all those names, the one person who didn't profit is that — there's no evidence that Joe Biden did anything illegally," Doocy added.
Comer insisted that they had something on President Biden.
"Well, if you look at the laptop and the emails between the president's son and his associates, they went to great lengths to hide Joe's involvement," Comer said. "They even gave him nicknames. They called him the Celtic and the big guy."
Oh no, not nicknames. That never happens!
"But make no mistake, Joe Biden was involved," he insisted without providing evidence. "All these countries that the Bidens were receiving money from were countries that Joe Biden was actively visiting in."
Sure thing, buddy. Let's talk about that. Right after leaving the White House, Jared Kushner secured $2 billion from a fund led by the Saudi crown prince (the bone-saw guy who is married to his half-cousin), a close ally during the Trump administration. Comer should also be interested in the money Trump made from other countries, including China.
