Democratic strategist James Carville, CNN's Dana Bash, and political commentator Paul Begala, discussed former President Brokey McBrokeface's current predicament with his legal problems and the fact that Trump is losing it mentally. As Carville put it, Trump is "clearly going mad." The Democratic strategist had some advice for President Joe Biden: Hit him hard. Attack him now, and my favorite: "He's drowning; give him an anvil."
"He's clearly going mad, and I would attack right now," Carville said. I'd spend that money, and I'd jump all over him because my feeling is that when your opponent is drowning, the first thing you do is throw him or her an anvil, and that's what he needs right now. He's drowning; give him an anvil!"
Begala weighed in to say it's "music to my ears."

"Speaker Pelosi is exactly right," Begala continued. "Not only is he the greatest speaker in my lifetime, but the greatest speaker in American history," Begala noted that the Democratic party has been great about raising money, but the Republican party and Trump seem to be broke, too.
"Attack, attack, attack, stop bragging, and start bashing. That's what needs to be done," he added.
On an aside, I'm not sure if I transcribed that properly, or maybe it sounded better in this head.
"First presidential race in my lifetime that is really not about the future, but it's about reminding people not only what he did, but what he tried to do and what he says he's going to do," Carville said. "I mean, this is like being a mosquito in a nudist colony. It's hard to pick a target, but you got to pick one and go after it, you know?"
Begala and Carville are correct. The only way to beat Trump is by something my brother taught me if I'm ever mugged or find myself in a dire predicament with an asshole who is coming at me. Keep punching, and don't stop after one swing. Just keep going. It saved me once. You have to defend yourself, and Trump has attacked a lot of people in this country. It's time to treat him that way, in my humble but always right opinion. Hit Trump with an anvil.
