Fox's Jesse Watters and wingnut actor Dennis Quaid made the ridiculous assertion that the only people pushing for Medicare-for-all are a bunch of lazy "socialists" who don't want to work.

Quaid made an appearance on this Tuesday's Jesse Watters Primetime. While discussing Trump's push for federal tax incentives that would benefit the US television and movie industry, Watters once again conflated communism with socialism, and Quaid proceeded to heap praise on Ronald Reagan for getting health insurance for members of the Screen Actors Guild before they both pretended the only people unhappy with their health insurance are the unemployed.

Here's the back and forth with Quaid proving he's just as big of an idiot as his brother:

QUAID: But it's Georgia. But more than that, it's Canada. Everything has been farmed out to Canada because it's so cheap to shoot up there. And we're losing our culture because of it.

And I really applaud President Trump for bringing this up because we've subsidized our oil industry, our auto industry, and this is our culture industry, really. And it's... let's make American movies great again.

WATTERS: There it is, Dennis. I think you got it down.

You played Ronald Reagan. Reagan defeated communism, Dennis. Why is communism coming back?

QUAID: Well, do you know what else Ronald Reagan did to stay in Hollywood for a minute? You know, Hollywood still hates Reagan for whatever reason; you know, that's just the way they are.

But do you know, the Screen Actors Guild- actors have the best health insurance in the world, bar none. And do you know who got them that health insurance? It was Ronald Reagan, who came out of retirement. He was president of the Screen Actors Guild up until '52. He came out of retirement 10 years later and got those actors the greatest healthcare they could possibly have, and I thank him for it.

WATTERS: Well, now no one is happy because they say they don't like their health care and they want Medicare-for-all. So, I mean, it always helps to have a job, Dennis.

QUAID: Yeah, well, everybody's a socialist until they get a job, right?

WATTERS: That's right.

Someone tell these two arrogant smirking clowns that about 8 percent of the population is uninsured and another 23 percent or so are underinsured, and most of those people have jobs.

The reason so many are pushing for Medicare-for-all, or something similar, is that our health care system is broken, and Republicans have done nothing but make it worse at every turn. These two rich, out-of-touch propagandists don't care one iota about the damage they're doing here with their lies.
