I don’t recall whether this song has ever been featured on C&L but it may be time. I heard this lyric and it clinched it for me:

“We live in a political world
Where mercy walks the plank
Life is in mirrors, death disappears
Up the steps into the nearest bank.”

Bob Dylan’s “Political World.” Just as true as when he recorded it in 1991.
