I never thought I could find an excuse for appreciating the "real-crime" weekend shows on MSNBC, especially since it meant no coverage on Iran the past two weekends. But at least profit-programming stopped the obscene wall-to-wall Michael Jackson death dirge on one cable news outlet.
That said, this flash mob action in San Francisco -- ordinary people dancing on the street to Jackson's music in sincere honor and joyful tribute -- seems exactly right.
