Sunday evening a tornado touched down in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, part of a wave of severe storms that passed through Mississippi and Louisiana. Major damage was reported in Hattiesburg, which is the home of the University of Southern Mississipi. The AP is now reporting 12 people were injured and hundreds of homes were damaged. Apparently, one tornado caused all the destruction, which was spread across two counties in southern Mississippi.
