Supergrass - a good run while it lasted.

Over to the Glastonbury Festival this weekend (a new one's coming up soon), for a concert by the late, lamented Supergrass in 2001.

A wildly popular band in Europe with marginal to moderate success over here, Supergrass had a good run from their inception in 1992 to their final split and disbanding in 2010 with a slew of albums to their credit and several hits to boot. As of this moment, there are rumors of a possible reforming, but . . .just rumors.

Here they are, as they were riding the crest of a popular wave in 2001.

Loud and high-energy. Perfect for the weekend. Play loud.
