This week's concert comes from North German Radio (via Radio France). The North German Radio Symphony, conducted by Michael Sanderling in a program of music by Franck, Prokofiev and Shostakovitch. Violinist Julia Fischer joins the orchestra in a performance of the Prokofiev 1st Violin Concerto.

The concert was recorded live in Hanover on December 11, 2009. It's complete and in two parts - the top player features - Franck: Les Eolides, the Prokofiev violin concerto and the bottom player features the Shostakovitch Symphony Number 15.
