Il Santo Niente - Italian for Grunge among other superlatives.

Il Santo Niente is a band that's been around since 1995, when their first album La Vitae Facile was released to good reviews and huge underground popularity in their native Italy.

Formed in Bologna, Il Santo Niente (The Holy Nothing or Saint Zilch) probably takes a nod more from Sonic Youth and Nirvana than their homegrown counterparts and they've been at the forefront of the Italian Grunge movement until their initial breakup in 1999.

Reformed in 2005, Santo Niente have branched out and refined their approach and tonight's track Prima Della Caduta is off that 2005 reunion album, Il Fiore Dell'agave.

Contemporary Rock music not in English. It may be a little hard to get used to - but music is the universal language anyway, so it's not all that tough.

Think of it as Music without borders.
