(Pony Asteroid - further evidence minds melt in Peru too)

Before I was so rudely interrupted with a computer crash, I was in the process of spending a week with singer-songwriters of the last year or so. Due to circumstances beyond my control (the hard drive with the rest of the weeks songs took the dirt nap) I wasn't able to finish, but I'll come back to it in a week or so as soon as I locate replacements for the tracks I lost.

In the meantime, some Psych/experimental/Alt from Peru. Pony Asteroid just appeared one day on my computer screen and I've been enjoying them ever since. Not signed to a label and I think they have an album or at least an ep out. They've been gigging locally and building up a good word of mouth via MySpace. This track One Day Lost His Time pretty much represents what they're all about (although I'm wondering if the title is really-really surreal or a variation on phonetic English that was supposed to mean something else - but who cares?).

Good stuff - and all the way from Peru, no less. Fits with Tuesday night just nicely.
