Two years ago I had the pleasure of going on tour opening for Velvet Revolver for three weeks. For them it was a "small" tour of 1500-3000 person venues. For us it was 10x bigger than anything we'd ever done before. It was a great experience all around, not the least of which was due to drummer Matt Sorum and the other members of Velvet Revolver making us wide-eyed kids feel at home and taking the time to say "nice set" and watch a couple of songs from side-stage.

That down-to-earth, inclusive attitude was on display from Sorum when asked about the possibility of a reunion with his former band, a little combo called Guns N' Roses.

When asked who should play drums, him or the perennially unstable Steven Adler (currently making people genuinely sad on Celebrity Rehab and Sober House), Sorum responded (via Blabbermouth):

"If it's me on drums or Steven or whatever, if it happened, it'd be great, you know. I would actually say to them, 'Hey, bring both of us back,' you know. Let me play the other stuff. We'll have two drum kits. I don't care. If 'Appetite' ('For Destruction', the band's debut) sounds better with Steven playing it, have both guys up there. They can afford it."

That's a reunion I'd shell out some serious coin to see. Coachella 2010?

Can you help us out?
