(NECN) The latest poll shows Harvard law professor Elizabeth Warren with a slight edge over Scott Brown 46 to 44%. It's a significant change since last June when the same old -- Warren trailing brown by fifteen points. Warren's name recognition has also gone up 24 points.

Local news is starting to take a keen interest in this race, in what should be among the most high profile of any for the U.S. Senate in 2012. Public Policy Polling has Warren up 46-44 over Scott Brown.
