Expect them to start wearing armbands soon instead of those hats.
Trump "said he wasn't aware of Kovaleski's disability" but mocked that disability. When criticized, he claimed the reporter should "stop using his disability to grandstand." This is getting beyond lying. I am starting to think Trump has a serious psychological problem. I believe he does not know he makes no sense.
I worked as a chaplain at several psychiatric hospitals back in the '80s. I met patients who were committed to the hospital by courts who made more sense than Trump. Some patients would seem to have wild fantasies. When you learned their stories what they said sometimes began to be understandable. What is behind Donald Trump's escape from reality is beyond me. He would be a danger if elected to high office.
But they won't face it. Who is going to hold them accountable? The media? Fat chance.
And keep in mind that there are the people who were loud and in the media who we know were birthers (Trump, et al.) and then there are all the supporters who will just disappear into the fog.
They're the same people who supported all of Bush's spending, the Iraq War and the Patriot Act and now pretend they were against all of it
They don't have the first bit of personal integrity so they'll just pretend they were never birthers in the first place. The rabble that is - tea freaks.
"I suppose that means a public figure has to rise to the level of actual fascism before the media will feel compelled to do their job? Good to know."
Baby steps, baby steps.....
