I'm also reading the most excellent "Lapdogs," by Eric Boehlert who has been contributing to C&L lately.
I finally finished. "The Two Minute Rule," which I will post about later in the week. I love hard boiled detective fiction in between everything else I try to read so check out the " Edgar Awards," website to find new authors if you're stuck. That's how I found Michael Connelly. Harry Bosch is a great character who I like him almost as much as Matthew Scudder. It's much better to read the Scudder series in order....
There's also a new station on DirectTV called the Sleuth Channel that has a lot of old police shows.
