Mark Knopfler is a guitarist extraordinaire and leader of the band Dire Straits, who had big hits in the late ‘70's and ‘80’s with "Sultans Of Swing" and "Money For Nothing". He has also appeared with Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan and the late Chet Atkins. He has a unique finger style of playing, and his moody subdued vocals are very evocative.
