I have to admit I was never a big fan of Queen, a band that always seemed to lack enough spontaneity to seem even human.

But we decided to go with them tonight in honor of Brian May's upcoming doctorate in Astrophysics and his just-finished almost finished thesis, "Radial Velocities in the Zodiacal Dust Cloud." Previously May had dropped out of college (in 1970) to chase his dream in music-- something that worked out rather well for him. He takes this stuff very seriously.
