This Week with George Stephanopoulos marks the passing of NC Senator Jesse Helms, New York Magazine editor Clay Felker and Bozo the Clown portrayer Larry Harmon as well as the names of 9 soldiers and Marines killed in Afghanistan. For the first time since the occupation began*, the Pentagon did not release the names of any troop members killed in combat in Iraq.

According the icasualties.org, there have been a total of 4,428 reported fatalities in the allied forces. Per IBC, there were 104 Iraqi civilian deaths. For the month of June, 712 civilians were reported/found dead, 28 were children.
