Full Moon in Gemini on December 17. The Full Moon will gracefully deliver a beautiful brilliance for us to indulge in. She will delicately shed light into the darkest shadows of secrets and the unknown, bringing that which is hidden to the forefront. During the Full Moon, something is revealed to us, while illuminating a very much needed truth from the intentions that were placed on the New Moon. With knowledge and power received, and at our disposal, we must choose carefully in how we intend to use this cosmic gift. We are emotionally vulnerable at front stage, standing in the spotlight for all to see. With the Full Moon in friendly Gemini, it’s a favorable time for us to shine in areas of communications, thoughts, flirtations, seeking information, multi-tasking, finding the humor, advising, awareness, creative thinking, writing, socializing, speaking, sharing ideas, and short journeys.

What you do speaks so loudly that I cannot hear what you say. Ralph Waldo Emerson

We can feel out of sorts with ourselves, as well as at odds with others as the Moon (emotions, mother) opposes the Sun (ego, father). The Sun in Sagittarius is actively rejuvenating our spirit so that we can easily let go of attachments, to happily follow the sun… which is nicely written and cooed by Lennon & McCartney. This can present us a path that increases our confidence and growth with a brilliant trine to Uranus stationed direct, as we learn to find happiness, by simply BEing. And with Sagittarian ruler Jupiter retrograde, we’re re-experiencing a path, to learn how to believe again.

You are the sky. Everything else – it’s just the weather. Pema Chödrön

There is conflict between the Sagittarius Sun and the Gemini Moon (ruler of the twins), and this provides us with dual sensitivities. Part of us can feel pushed into one direction, while the other part feels pulled into another. For more insight about this tug of war, look to the house in your chart that is being illuminated by the Full Moon. And as we intellectualize what we’re feeling, we should find that an inner flow will be a necessity – so that we can quickly shift directions as we please, to avoid responsibilities and clingy attachments. The element of air is present, where plenty of breathing space is craved for emotional freedom. And if needed, we can produce a bunch of ‘hot air’ and misleading words to ‘talk the talk’, for the purpose of stalling time, to figure out the correct way to travel, which allows us to curiously question our options, and ourselves… all over again.

You can say something hurtful in ten seconds, but ten years later, the wounds are still there. Joel Osteen

All of this wondering can have us emotionally wandering, to experience a change of heart, and to flip-flop our choices. We can feel full, as well as empty at the same time – depending on which emotion serves our needs. And if we’re not communicating intentions clearly now, hesitancy can induce misunderstandings if we submit to our worries and self-doubt. Gemini rules the the hands, shoulders, arms, lungs, and nerves. During this time, these areas can have a much greater sensitivity, so be sure to make time for walking, meditation, deep breathing exercises, and getting a good night of sleep.

A heart with wings is encouraging us to fly high, and to go public with what is self-nurturing. Move past heavy limitations. Meet others (and yourself) halfway. Strive for flexibility, to gain balance with this Full Gemini Moon. Be the breath of fresh air that you seek from others. Speak from the heart, say it with love, then spread your wings to fly. Shine on.
