C&L's Late Nite Music Club With J.G. Thirlwell

For tonight's episodes of the Music Club, I present to you an artist who takes on many roles, including, but not limited to: performer, composer, conductor, and producer.

This particular performance features a medley of pieces that are all part of his soundtrack for the TV show, The Venture Bros. While he is a part of many other musical projects, Steroid Maximus is his primary instrumental endeavor. The material that appears on the soundtrack is extremely eclectic, which comes as no surprise considering that Thirlwell works in many different styles. However, in this case you have a pretty wild blend of jazz, rock, and orchestral music, which makes for a very diverse overall work that can adapt to many different situations (ideal for a TV show).

Got any favorite soundtracks?
