Radio Host Cuts Off Wingnut Guest For Lying About Obama

Tim Farley cut retired Air Force Col. Dick Brauer's mic after he started the usual litany of lies.

This is the offal war leaves behind -- retired military "geniuses" who get gigs with conservative PACs designed to raise lots of money from conservative military members in order to keep the hate message machine going while packing the bank accounts of their consultants.

Retired Air Force Colonel Dick Brauer, Jr. was cut off by radio host Tim Farley after he went off on a tangent about how Obama is a Muslim. Again. As if there aren't enough of these lunatics out there shouting this crap.

Erik Wemple:

A host on SiriusXM radio today cut off a guest for declaring that President Obama “is a Muslim.” On “The Morning Briefing with Tim Farley,” retired Air Force Col. Dick Brauer Jr. said, “The key thing is that, our president being a Muslim, and he is a Muslim because his father -”

At that point, host Farley stopped him with these words, “All right, well, we’re just going to take you right off the air now, so we don’t need that on the air because that’s ridiculous and just, we’re not going to let you put falsehoods on the air. So I appreciate your being here. But that is not something we’re going to allow to get on the air because it’s a ridiculous accusation.”

Excellent! It's nice to see someone just cut them off and take the mic away.

Brauer is an associate of wingnut General and Groundswell message minion Jerry Boykin, who also likes to go on national television and radio proclaiming that Obama is a Muslim, figuring they get a twofer out of it. Ratchet the POTUS hate while stoking appetite for more war in the Middle East! What could be wrong about that.

Brauer is also a board member of Special Operations Speaks, a Dan Backer PAC designed to collect small donations from lots of ex-military donors, keep them angry, and fatten Backer's bottom line. It's good to see Tim Farley give them one less opportunity to fundraise on their hate.
