Mike's Blog Round Up

Hello, everyone. It's good to be back. Let's get right into it by turning to the most important news story of the moment, on which I have an opinion or two:

Bruce Jenner is a courageous idiot.

I'm kidding, of course. Clearly, the White House Correspondents' Dinner has been the biggest and most important story of the past few days. There's stuff going on in Baltimore and Nepal as well, I hear, but the news media as usual seem to have other priorities. Meanwhile, some things never seem to change, to America's gross discredit:

All Things Democrat: Republicans are working hard to screw America.

Frankly Curious: Constitutional conservatives are neo-Confederates.

While for President Obama, who was rather impressive at that dinner, there is, as usual, the very good and the sadly disappointing:

Zandar Versus the Stupid: Progress in the fight against climate change.

Occasional Planet: A bad trade deal negotiated in secret.

But seriously, that Jenner interview was pretty huge, eh?
