I haven't come to bash Bristol Palin, but to praise her instead. Sort of, anyway. Palin announced her pregnancy on her blog, writing that she's "having a hard time with this one."

I'm pretty sure she wasn't talking about morning sickness, given that she broke off her engagement with Dakota Meyer last month, and seems not very happy about the current state of affairs.

Life moves on no matter what. So no matter how you feel, you get up, get dressed, show up, and never give up.

When life gets tough, there is no other option but to get tougher.

I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you.

Rather than mocking her, I'd just like to say that she had a choice in this matter and exercised her free will to move ahead with her pregnancy. In the end, it will be that free-will act that will help her be reconciled to a future as the single mom of two children.

I only wish that she and her mother wanted the same choice for all women.
