I'm talking standalone modern orchestral music, of course. No film scores here, just Play: Level 3 from Andrew Norman, performed by the Boston Modern Orchestra Project. If you're looking for something melody-driven, then look elsewhere! I'd say this piece is more about the sonic textures that the musicians create with their instruments. Not a bad thing at all, but definitely not your traditional orchestral piece.
