John Dingell was a congressman for 59 years before he retired as the dean of the House earlier this year. He set the record for the longest congressional tenure in U.S. history. On Thursday, however, he added another achievement to his résumé: the best Donald Trump burn in recent memory.
In a tweet, Trump branded Senator John McCain a “dummy,” seemingly snapping back after McCain said “he fired up the crazies” on immigration. Dingell didn’t suffer Trump lightly. Behold:
