On Greta Van Susteren's show yesterday, the one and only Donald Rumsfeld came out with his endorsement of Donald Trump, saying the decision "wasn't even close."
"The way I think of it is this," Rumsfeld said, as he endorsed the fascist, "On the Democrats' side, we have a known known. On the Republican side, we have a recent entry, who's a known unknown."
Well, that makes just about as much sense as his remarks about Saddam Hussein back in the day.
You might remember them.
"There are known knowns; there are things we know we know," Rumsfeld mused in February, 2002.
"We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say, we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns — the ones we don't know we don't know."
Here's my known known: Rumsfeld is a liar, and liars stick together, especially if there's a prospect of some profit for Rumsfeld in the end.
