Facebook Kills A Bunch Of People, Then Resurrects Them
November 11, 2016

A few minutes ago I checked into Facebook just to see how people (and our posts!) were doing there. The first status I saw was from Joshua Holland, who was insisting he wasn't dead.

Then I started seeing tweets from other people about it too.

Shortly after people started seeing the memorial message at the top of their pages, they were resurrected by the virtual gods of social media pulling tech strings in the background. It seems to have been mostly verified users who were affected by it.

Too much corporate power?

Can you help us out?

For 17 years we have been exposing Washington lies and untangling media deceit, but now Facebook is drowning us in an ocean of right wing lies. Please give a one-time or recurring donation, or buy a year's subscription for an ad-free experience. Thank you.
