During today's press conference in NYC to address the terror attack that took the lives of eight people, the governor and mayor condemned Trump for politicizing the attack through Twitter.

Early this morning Trump to Twitter to make to make spurious claims and attack Senator Chuck Schumer.

When asked by the press if they were bothered that Trump didn't call them, but went on a Twitter rant to attack older immigration policies that do not jibe with his Muslim bans, they responded.

Mayor de Blasio said, "Look. I'm not bothered at all because two senior officials called promptly and offered help and I think that was appropriate. I think we are here to talk about this situation, the facts, and no one up here wants to politicize any of this and I don't think anyone should be politicizing this tragedy at this moment in time."

Governor Cuomo said, "I am not bothered that the president didn't call. I am bothered by an attempt by anyone to try to politicize this situation. That plays right into the hands of the terrorists. They're trying to disrupt. They're trying to create mayhem. They're trying to divide. The point is to do the opposite. Is to unite, normalcy, proceed as one. Sort of politicizing this event, I think, is wholly counterproductive."

What a buffoon this president is. What he tweeted makes no sense in the year of 2017 and certainly does not help the situation that is still unfolding.

Any terrorist act that happens here or abroad is a license for Trump to make it all about himself. We have a president that defends Neo-Nazis who are engaged in racism and anti-Semitic actions in Charlottesville but he attacks Democrats after a terrorist attack in New York City.

It's pathetic.
