Too much news Tuesday:
My long-time iNternet acquaintances at World O' Crap have dug into their archives & pulled out some "Just How Awful Is Roy Moore?" items from the late Mesozoic Era. "Pretty awful" is the answer.
Southern Beale asks (& answers): "Why Now? Because Journalism Happened"
Frank Rich typed an article for the print edition of New York (you know it'll be long) on the historical context of Trump, Trumpism & the Groping Old Perverts: "Liberals ecstatic over this month’s election must not forget: Even after this demagogue is finished, a new one will rise in his place." The photo-illustration alone is worth several hundred words, if not a thousand.
Max's Dad does some thinking. One quibble: Can the Democratic Party not nominate an aging wretch out of history (Joe Biden, yada) & get someone under 60 (or 50) to run? You may remember that the last two Democratic Prezzes were both under 50 when elected to their first terms. Al Gore seemed like an old man, & was over 50 when he ran, even though he won the popular vote. Youth must be served!
Nature Corner: Southern Californians may not have the spectacular fall colors of dying leaves you "real" Americans get, but our polluted air gives us lovely semi-tropical sunsets.
Compiled by aging wretch M. Bouffant, who really turns his bitterness & despair loose at Web of Evil (& Ennui).
