About as predictable as the sun coming up each morning. Trump 'jokes' about making himself president for life and the kids at Fox & Friends giggle, and say "lighten up, people." Just as you knew they would. That is, after all, what they're paid to do.

The hosts of Fox & Friends Sunday morning rushed to President Trump‘s defense over the comments he made about the President of China.

In audio obtained by CNN, Trump said, “He’s now president for life. President for life. And he’s great. And look, he was able to do that. I think it’s great. Maybe we’ll give that a shot some day.”

Fox played the audio this morning and Pete Hegseth––who was quick to invoke the President’s “fake news” nickname at first mention of CNN––said, “He’s making a joke… You could hear the laughter in the room.”

Griff Jenkins wondered about the fact that the audio was leaked in the first place.

“It’s a joke!” Rachel Campos-Duffy exclaimed. “It’s a joke! It’s a joke. And the President loves to, you, know, entertain wherever he’s at. He’s got that entertainment vibe about him, he likes entertaining the crowd.”
