Judge Napolitano tells Fox News viewers, the special counsel does not have to turn over any documents to Congress until the investigation is over.

Fox News senior legal analyst, the former judge Napolitano emphatically rebuked Rep. Louis Gohmert's efforts to smear Mueller's investigations on yesterday's Outnumbered Overdrive.

Republicans are now trying to attack the actual briefing that was held from the demands of Trump about the classified documents from the DOJ since they obviously did not prove wild claims from Trump and his Devin Nunes sidekicks.

Texas Rep. Lewis Gohmert joined Harris Faulkner and attacked the special counsel and all the Republicans in Congress who have come out and said the FBI didn't spy on the Trump campaign.

Gohmert slimed the investigations by calling them part of the "Mueller cartel" over the idea that the DOJ is supposed to turn over all documents of an ongoing investigation to Republicans in Congress, whose main objective is to defend Trump.

Faulkner was surprised at his wording and off camera said, "Ooh."

"As long as we have Republicans in leadership positions who think it's okay to have Orwellian spies, spy on presidential campaigns of one party, then we have bigger problems than just the briefing."

Gohmert and his other Trump apologists are trying to undermine the Russian investigations by illegally forcing the DOJ to reveal they have.

Host Harris Faulkner then brought on Judge Napolitano and towards the end of the interview, she complained that Robert Mueller still had his power since he won't tell Republicans in Congress what he has and the Fox News senior legal analyst clearly pushed back on it and explained why.

Napolitano said, "We won't know what he has until he either says I'm not indicting anybody, here's what I found or here are the indictments now we will try these cases."

And then he emphatically rebuked Rep. Gohmert's crazed attacks against Mueller's special counsel.

"And he doesn't have to show his cards contrary to my friend Congressman Gohmert," he said.

Judge Nap continued, "[Mueller] doesn't have to show documents in the middle of a criminal investigation. He has the privilege of keeping those secrets until the investigation is over."

This is common knowledge to all, but it will not stop the always Trumpers from claiming a deep state conspiracy against Donald and that Mueller is trying to frame the administration.
