There is a lot to unpack in this trainwreck of an interview where Candace "Hitler wasn't a totally bad dude" Owens tries to clean up her despicable remarks glorifying Hitler's actions in Germany from this vile clip.

Owens, one of Trump's biggest fans and one of the talking mouths from the dual headed serpent known as Turning Point USA, said this at a December event in London:

“I actually don’t have any problems at all with the word ‘nationalism.' I think that the definition gets poisoned by elitists that actually want globalism. Globalism is what I don’t want, so when you think about whenever we say nationalism, the first thing people think about, at least in America, is Hitler.

He was a national socialist. But if Hitler just wanted to make Germany great and have things run well, okay, fine. The problem is that he wanted, he had dreams outside of Germany."

Let's break down all the levels of crazy in her original speech. First, she touts nationalism, fine. That is a talking point of the alt-Right and conservatives who are desperately trying to cling to their country's population and reduce immigration. Second, she starts bashing "globalism", a big word that basically means planning economic and foreign policy based around the idea of countries working together. Oh, and it is also an anti-Semitic slur.. Surely Candace Owens knows this is a dog whistle for her base, though. Then, let's get into her riff about Hitler and how awesome he was for Germany, even with all the murdering of innocent people and all...and how her only *real* issue with him was that he decided to take his brand of murder and depravity outside of the borders of Germany.

Wait, surely she didn't say that, did she? Let's read her quote again:

"If Hitler just wanted to make Germany great and have things run well, okay, fine."

Nope, that is what she said. If he wanted to make "things run well" IN Germany, she was fine with it.

Nazi says what?

Poor stupid Candace decided the best way to clean up her mess was to go on FOX Business with Lou Dobbs, the septuagenarian racist, sexist and homophobic grandpa we all love to hate, to try to get some sympathy points. Here is how that went:

DOBBS: It's great to see you. I would start by addressing some of the remarks from late last year that were dredged up by a leftist advocacy group to attack you, claiming that you seem to defend Hitler while explaining the term nationalism. Your thoughts? I know you tried to straighten this out last Friday.

OWENS: You and I both know what this is. The left has me is a major target because I've been affected at delivering conservative principles to the black community. Number one target because I'm leading a revolution which will encourage black Americans to look at the real history, the very races history of the Democratic party which is not served us. first, they ignore me and then they left laughed at me now they're fighting me.

DOBBS: Let's get to the point here. This business with Hitler and nationalism, you are number one target or among the number one target for media matters for all the left-wing advocacy groups. They're going to try to kill you....for figuratively speaking. Straighten this out with Hitler and nationalism.

OWENS: The discussion was about nationalism and if it's okay of conservatives to say their nationalists. I said the word nationalism is wrongly attributed to Hitler because he was a nationalist. He wasn't focused on trying to bring the Germans to a better state because he was actively current killing German troops. He was a homicidal maniac.

DOBBS: Two of the most two of the evilest figures in figure. In this business, it's a simple thing, the news business. Anybody who brings up Hitler loses. Every single time so if you're looking for a metaphor, taken from the old guy. Find another metaphor. Find another symbol.

OWENS: I'll take that advice. I've learned my lesson.

Let's break down all the delusion in this interview:

First, Candace is not leading a "revolution". I do not know what crazy koolaid she is drinking, but it is making her hallucinate. She is right about one thing, though. We did (and still are) laughing at her. She is a fool.

Moving on...

Dobbs says we are trying to kill her (figuratively). No, we are trying to stop her brand of stupidity from spreading. Similar to the vaccine for herpes, we are trying to make sure she doesn't continue to infect the minds of impressionable teens and college students. Like herpes, she flares up, causes rashes and blisters and immense pain to victims and those around them.

Finally, Dobbs advises her to "find another symbol" to explain nationalism and racism and anti-Semitism.

I have one - Donald Trump.
