Jonathan Hernandez, chairman of the Oklahoma College Republicans and a minister, has been arrested and charged with two felonies for sex crimes with a 14-year-old he met at church.

It looks like another case of projection from the right-wingers who obsessively accuse others of being pedophile groomers for wanting to allow kids to learn about sexuality.

KFOR TV has the disturbing details:

According to the affidavit, Hernandez met the then-14-year-old victim at church where Hernandez was a minister.

Hernandez was a student at Oklahoma Christian University at the time and he invited the 14-year-old to his dorm room.

The affidavit said the two then watched porn on Hernandez’s bed. It goes on to describe how Hernandez allegedly asked to see the victim’s penis and performed oral sex.

Hernandez is not the only right-wing Christian minister to be arrested for sex crimes with a minor recently. The Everett Daily Herald reports that Kendal Kippen, who was a youth pastor at Jake’s House Church in Arlington, Washington, was arrested in February and charged with two counts of third-degree child rape of a 15-year-old girl.

Kippen’s father, the lead pastor of the church, reportedly tried to resolve the situation with the victim’s father, saying that God told him to give her his sports car. The victim, now in her late teens, has filed a civil suit against Kendal Kippen and the church.

Another woman has also come forward, alleging that Kippen began grooming her when she was 17 and sexually abused her at church-sanctioned events, according to the Herald.

Apparently, Kippen’s Twitter account no longer exists. But Raw Story notes the irony of what had been his pinned tweet: "I believe the greatest threat to America is the deterioration of the family unit. Until family is restored, we will be hard pressed to heal a hurting nation."
