Gov. Ron DeSantis told Fox News that the FBI's sting and arrest of Michigan militia members trying to foment another civil war by kidnapping Gov. Whitmer was a hoax, except two men were just convicted

The Florida governor looking to run for the US presidency went on a full-on QAnon rant against the FBI when the topic of their raid of Mar-A-Lago.

"So the FBI has a history now of weaponizing its power to go after people that it doesn't like," DeSantis said.

Hundred of top secret documents were reportedly seized by the agency -- documents which Trump apparently refused to give back -- which is why the warrant was signed off by a judge.

DeSantis, trying to pretend he supports Trump, used his name to smear the entire FBI over RussiaGate. (Bill Barr is now in the cross-hairs for lying about the Mueller report)

"They were trying to drive him out of office based on a conspiracy theory," he said.

What's true is not a conspiracy. What's false is saying COVID vaccines gives a person AIDS.

"We are seeing what's happening with this Michigan kidnapping hoax," he said. "Which is a total disaster for the Bureau."

Earth to Ron, two men were just convicted in the Michigan case:

"A federal jury Tuesday took it very seriously, convicting two men accused of orchestrating the disturbing plan. The Detroit News notes that "prosecutors salvaged the largest domestic terrorism case in a generation that has shed light on political extremism in Michigan."

"The outlet reports that two others, Ty Garbin and Kaleb Franks, pleaded guilty to federal kidnapping conspiracy charges and testified as the government's star witnesses."

Trump repeatedly attacked Gov. Whitmer and soon after this heinous plot was conceived. Now the FBI has been vindicated, while DeSantis spews hogwash.

The idea that any state government or congressional leader would defend traitors like Adam Fox and Barry Croft Jr. is unconscionable.

The Florida governor didn't stop there as he had to give a shoutout to investment banker Steve Bannon and his cadre of liars.

"You look at what's happening with FBI agents surveilling parents going to school board meetings. Who would ever thought that?"

Who would ever thought that right-wing media would turn parents into weapons against the teachers, and school boards by making up the CRT scam to enrage them? Their hatred got so heated that so many violent threats were made at them by these MAGA parents the FBI issued a warning.

"Basically these agencies have become the enforcement arm of a particular faction of our country against everybody else."

QAnon 101.

Attacking the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago, DeSantis claimed "federal agencies in the past five or 10 years have been weaponized against people the government doesn't like and that's a fact."

Deep-state DeSantis speaks once again, but it's all BS.
