Grant Wahl, a CBS soccer analyst, was detained from entering the stadium hosting the USA – Wales soccer match because he was wearing a pride shirt.

Wahl tweeted almost an hour later that everything was sorted out, and he was allowed to wear the shirt at the event.

"I’m OK, but that was an unnecessary ordeal. Am in the media center, still wearing my shirt. Was detained for nearly half an hour. Go gays"

Hatemongering the gay community is not limited to Republicans Fox News hosts.

The World Cup is the world's biggest sporting event which happens every four years, and Qatar and FIFA have come under a tremendous amount of criticism since they inexplicably won the bid to host the games.

As you might have guessed, former FIFA officials allegedly were bribed by Qatar twelve years ago to host this massive event.

Qatar is about the size of Connecticut.

HBO's John Oliver did a great segment on this travesty Sunday evening.

An opposing viewpoint from a Qatari generated a wave of comments.
