I didn't read much during the midterms - I was busy doing Postcards to Voters - but I just finished one book on Time Magazine's list (above) by a favorite author, Kevin Wilson, and his new novel "Now Is Not The Time To Panic." Excellent.

And I used a Christmas gift card to buy "This Time Tomorrow" by Emma Straub and also "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" (sensing a theme here?) by Gabrielle Zevin.

There are literally hundreds of "BookTube" videos out there with "best of" lists, but two of my favorites, and channels with consistent output, are Lonesome Reader:
