Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer spoke from Capitol Hill earlier Wednesday, singling out Sen. Lindsey Graham's explanation for why Senator Warnock and the Democratic party did so well in the 2022 midterms.

Schumer praised the six pieces of legislation that were passed by Congressional Democrats to help voters. Adding to the mix were great candidates running against MAGA Republicans.

"The combination of those two things was the powerful one-two punch that made us defy all the odds and provided the right nutrient so our great candidates could prevail," Schumer said.

"Don't take my word for it. This is what I read Lindsey Graham said this morning, he said quote, 'Democrats have done a pretty good job of picking issues that motivate their base and have wider support among the public. We, the Republicans, need to be doing the same thing. I think a lot of people in the republican party don't see us doing it as emphatically as the Democrats,' he said.

"That's one of the few times I'll quote Lindsey Graham with approval, but he said it. Okay."

Republicans have chosen to coalesce around a twice- impeached former president, white and Christian nationalism, election fraud, hokey faux culture wars, hate, fear and homophobia.

The GOP has offered nothing but corrupted laptops and demonized drag shows to demonize their political rivals with.

America seems to be figuring that out.
