Will we see another slap?

It's back and so is Kimmel.

(Is it me or is it weird that the NBA scheduled a Lakers v Knicks game in Los Angeles tonight? The Oscars is a huge event for the city.)

I just viewed “Everything Everywhere All at Once” for a second time. It really is an amazing film.

I do understand this film is not everyone's cup of tea.

In a way, it's like watching an extended Rick and Morty inspired special, that one might think was impossible to put on film.

The performances and craftsmanship were all inspired.

I feel bad picking against Jamie Lee Curtis, because her performance was awesome, but the movie hinged on the shoulders of Ke Huy Quan and as much as the incomparable Michelle Yeoh led the way, if Quan was not as good as she was, it wouldn't have worked.

A big shout out goes to Angela Bassett because when is she never incredible? Cate Blanchett was truly riveting as well.

I do find I have a lot in common with Variety's picks.

I do love watching and reading the ignorant MAGA cultists bitch and moan about the award show.

And that applies to almost every award show out there. I imagine the lead on Fox News Monday will be "The Oscars Go Woke," or some version of that.
