Donald Trump continues his streak of hiring only the BEST lawyers in the world. Unimpeachable, professional, respectful to the Court, competent. Oh, and barred in the area where they are practicing.

I am wrong. John Lauro, Trump's MAIN MAN in the January 6th DC case received this nice letter from the U.S. Court of Appeals informing Lauro that he is not a member of the bar for the DC Circuit. He was given a Nov. 2 deadline to complete his application. Until then, he cannot file Trump's appeal to the gag order just handed down by Judge Chutkan.

Lauro thought he was all set when he filed an official notice of appeal that he was going to be representing Donald Trump, but he apparently forgot that he is not licensed to practice in that Court. Lauro is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for DC, NOT the U.S. Court of Appeals (DC Circuit). Totally different courts. But he should know that.
