Even when they're treated like literal garbage, these Republican, trad-wife extremeist women still can't (or won't) seem to break their chains.
Current Texas Attorney General and US Senate candidate Ken Paxton is about as estranged as estranged gets from his wife, Angela Paxton, after he repeatedly failed to keep all of his body parts safely inside his clothing throughout their 38 years of marriage, finally leading Angela to file for divorce on "biblical" grounds in July of last year. In her filing, Angela stated that her husband had "committed adultery" and their marriage had become "insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities."
In a follow-up social media post, she further explained, "After 38 years of marriage, I filed for divorce on biblical grounds."
"I believe marriage is a sacred covenant and I have earnestly pursued reconciliation," she wrote. "But in light of recent discoveries, I do not believe that it honors God or is loving to myself, my children, or Ken to remain in the marriage."
Today, after 38 years of marriage, I filed for divorce on biblical grounds.

But despite all of her personal proof that Ken Paxton is a genuinely terrible, irredeemable person, she'd still like you to vote for him, please.
According to a new report from Fox News, Texas state Senator Angela Paxton has finally broken her silence on her estranged husband's Senate race while speaking to the Texas Federation of Republican Women.
"We have more control over that seat and the future when we control the seat, when it's still in the family, even if we're mad at them," she reportedly told the crowd, drawing some light laughter.
Angela's speech, according to Fox, was themed "the elephant in the room," a double entendre if I've ever heard one.
In her speech, she stressed to the room full of Republican women that "it's not the people, it's the seat."
"If we lose it to the other team, the nuances that we want to fix with maybe a certain candidate are nothing compared to what it's going to take to get it back."
Earlier this year, Angela released a list of her personal endorsements, and her estranged hubby was nowhere to be found on it.
But if you find yourself thinking that, perhaps, Ken Paxton has turned over a new leaf, worked on himself, become a new man, and that's what led to Angela's decision to finally give him a little public support... Don't -- considering the Texas AG all but assaulted a man earlier this month who filmed him with his mistress in London.
