Hitting more familiar territory tonight with the French Electronica duo Air, in a performance recorded live in-studio on April 20, 2001 and broadcast by KCRW in Los Angeles in May of that year.
Radio #1 was off their third very successful album 10,000 Hz Legend released in 2001. Essentially considered a duo, Air have augmented their sound with several backup musicians for sessions and touring. Currently, they have added drummer Alex Thomas as an official member of the band, making them a trio, one supposes.
