Margaret Thatcher – "free" market extremist, authoritarian jingoist, and BFF to any number of right-wing military dictators – is dead. She's a Reagan-level hero to conservatives, and I once admired her myself in my stupider youth, but in reality she was comfortably at home, as Roger Waters sang, among the "overgrown infants" and "incurable tyrants," the "wasters of life and limb," who bloodied the 20th century.

Messaging Matters: The disconnectedness of Florida's Bentley-driving 1%ers.
Human Voices: The 100-mile Fourth Amendment violations of the DHS.
