I've got one word for you: Foooootbaaaaallllllllll!!!!!!!!!! (What else matters?)

No More Mister Nice Blog: Will the Beltway media ever stop rationalizing Republican craziness? Er, no, not likely. (Though even Reagan would be horrified.)

The Rude Pundit: After 9/11, Americans were asked not to engage but to acquiesce. And then Republicans, with the populace divided, dismantled everything they could.

Human Voices: Ten years after 9/11, we're still mired in lachrymose and maudlin self-pity, and the incident has taken on a religious tone, complete with holy martyrs and holy relics.

The Existentialist Cowboy: With Republicans like Perry and Bachmann pushing fundamentalist theocracy, it's helpful to remember that America is actually not a Christian nation.

Round-up by Michael J.W. Stickings of The Reaction, a dedicated life-long Steelers fan. I'll be here all week.
