Alice in Wonderland (2010)
It seems like so long ago that my only reference for tea parties were of the Lewis Carroll variety. I think the tea baggers are a lot like the Tim Burton movie: unfocused, noisy, vaguely menacing and well, sort of pointless. But that doesn't stop the corporate media from loving them. In fact, Face the Nation is going to devote the whole hour to those tea party rock stars like Marco Rubio and Ken Buck. David Gregory is copying Christiane Amanpour's education hour from a few weeks back and waits for Superman with Education Secretary Arne Duncan, Michelle Rhee and Randi Weingarten. David Axelrod will punch hippies with Christiane Amanpour and Deputy Dog Lieberman gnashes and wails about those mean Democrats on State of the Union. Meanwhile, John Boehner goes the safe route and appears on Fox News Sunday, where we can be sure that no one will ask why the GOP Pledge Manifesto on America has so many pictures instead of new ideas.
