It was a remarkable game, with vicious hits, long passes, bruising runs, Joe Montana being crushed by Leonard Marshall, and a last second field goal by Matt Bahr to win the game for the Giants in Candle Stick park with no time left on the clock 15-13. What was even more chilling was seeing Dan Rather come on the air and begin to describe night footage of two patriot missles shooting down two Scud missles over Saudi Arabia. The Gulf War was raging and people in the stands held minature American flags in their hands. Fifteen years have gone by and some things have really changed, and sadly some things have remained the same.
