Journalist Rose Aguilar leaves the liberal bubble of San Francisco to bring you personal stories from people living in states that overwhelmingly voted for George W. Bush for President. "I left San Francisco two weeks ago and plan to visit Mississippi, Oklahoma, Nebraska, South Dakota, Montana and Utah over the next five months."

"I'm interviewing people from all walks of life. I'm finding my best interviews in campgrounds, gas stations and the parking lots of Wal-Marts and upscale grocery stores. So far, I've found a lot more liberals than I expected. That said, I've met more Republicans over the past two weeks than I have in the past year in San Francisco."

Ms. Aguilar also reports for KALW 91.7 FM and writes for AlterNet.
