Download Colbert: You see, all over the country, candidates are running away from the President and that's not an easy thing to do. Just ask Joe Lieberman. He can not get the lipstick out of his collar. But-- in this case, the President is generously running away from Schlesinger. Nobody expects that. No, this has got to be Karl Rover's genius plan. That's why they won't endorse Schlesinger.
It could also be because he counts cards at the casinos, but with Rove--you can't be sure.
