This is a live video of post-Stooges Iggy Pop on the U.K. TV show, Old Grey Whistle Test (1979) doing "I Wanna Be Your Dog," one of his signature songs (from the debut eponymous Stooges LP). This week Iggy was in the news again-- at the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame (no the stodgy and irrelevant establishmentarians still haven't recognized Iggy), where he performed "Ray of Light" and "Burning Up" for another Michigan artist who didn't... but who was inducted. Iggy's pal was Madonna. I like "I Wanna Be Your Dog" way more.
