A school district that recently drew fire from around the county when Uintah Elementary took food from a number of hungry children who were behind on their lunch accounts and threw the food in the trash. After the school wasted money by throwing good food away the proper meals were replaced with a piece of fruit and some milk, depriving the children of an opportunity to finish the day after having eaten properly.
