What It Is Makes Me Shudder So...

I admit to being still in shock, following John Boehner's announcement to quit not only his position as Speaker Of The House, but also the House! He wasn't good at his Speakership, but this past year, he did as good a job as anyone could expect keeping the House Jackals mostly well-muzzled. I can't imagine the crap he had to wade through on a daily basis. At any rate, this announcement thoroughly scuttled previous plans for today's Round-up, and I'll make up for that tomorrow. Let's have a look at what to expect in a post-Boehner Congress, shall we?

Yastreblyansky, of The Rectification Of Names starts us off with some thoughtful thoughts on Speaker Boehner's career and departure.

"Prime Rib" Paul Wartenberg of You Might Notice A Trend gives us a solid run-down on the possible "candidates" for Speaker Of The House.

Upyernoz, with Rubber Hose sees bright silver linings, and good news for Democrats!

And finally, Demeur has a nice piece about China's move to Carbon Cap And Trade. Alas, with the GOP Crazies about to seize power, we'll have to wait until 2017 to follow.
